Senator Leila De Lima has called President Rodrigo Duterte as the “lowest and the vilest man in the country.”
"Our President is again going ballistics. Naaawa na po ako sa ating Pangulo kaya patawarin na lang po siya ng mahal na Diyos sa kanyang pinaggagawa [I pity him. May God forgive him for all his wrongdoings," said De Lima,De Lima, a staunch critic of Duterte, has been tagging on several issues by the President particularly being as the drug protector of big time drug lords inside New Bilibid Prison (NBP) in Muntinlupa City.
"All of a sudden, for me, he's now the lowest and the vilest man in the country sa sobrang kabastusan po niya. That's why God forgive him," she added.
Duterte even accused De Lima having video and called immoral over her rumored relationship with her former driver.
Exasperated on allegations thrown to her, she pleads and said:
“Tigilan niyo na po ako. Ano pong gusto niyo sa akin? May gusto po ba kayo sa akin?"Duterte and De Lima have been throwing mud with each ever since the senator investigated the then Davao City Mayor Duterte on alleged vigilante killings in his city.
"May God forgive you,' De Lima said to Duterte.
Recently, De Lima was ousted as chair of Senate Committee on Justice and Human Rights as 16 senators voted to remove the lady senator.
Meanwhile, President Duterte said that De Lima will be jailed over accusation against her particularly her alleged involvement to big time drug lords in NBP.
"Makukulong na talaga iyan, sigurado iyan [She really will be jailed, that's for sure] because of the testimonial evidence ," he said at a speech in Malacañang.READ ALSO: "De Lima Will Really Go To Jail", Says Duterte
"You elected a senator, kayong mga Pilipino [you Filipinos], who was into narco-politics, who was being financed from the inside."
