Instead of keeping the money, a homeless man in Thailand returns a Hermes wallet containing THB 20, 000 (Almost P24,000) and a credit card to the owner.
The homeless man named Waralop doesn’t have a job and even money to buy food and other basic necessities. Despite his situation, he returned the wallet without any hesitation to the owner
Niity Pongkriangyos, the owner of an expensive wallet, was elated with the good deed of the homeless man as he didn’t realize that he actually lost his wallet. The owner accidentally dropped his wallet at a local police station.
“I was totally surprised when the police told me they had my wallet as I didn’t even know I’d lost it,” he explained. “If it was me in that position with no money I probably would have kept it.”But Waralop just proved that not all homeless people would take interest in an expensive wallet containing bountiful cash.
The owner decided to reward the homeless man with a job on his factory and a place to live.
Another story of faith in humanity being restored as Waralop showed his honesty through his genuine action.
