A San Beda graduate and a lawyer lambasted Senator Antonio Trillanes IV for saying that he will present evidence that would prove Edgar Matobato's statements are true.
Atty. Bruce Rivera, on his Facebook account, shared an article from ABS-CBN that appear Trillanes defending the Senate witness from his colleagues' claims that Matobato has inconsistent statements.
Aba aba aba aba....
Present evidence to confirm testimony? Ang Senate ba court of laws or PR firm? Present evidence to change how people perceive him. How can we believe him if we cannot even believe you.
And ABS-CBN is making this newsworthy.
Netizens were also quick to react to the said article,
Maluwag ang tornilyo ng taong ito. I think this guy needs to see a psychiatrist or a clinical psychologist. He has a big psychological problem.
Ang tindi nga nitong trillanes na to ...dapat tangalin na yan sa senado ...Walang kwenta, lahat ng Pinag sasabi Mula pa non Gawa Gawa Nya Lang tangna Daig pa naka drugs Kung tumira tskkk
I am not into politics..
Oh another joseph de mesa in the making ba trillanes.
Trillanes also said that his evidence will bring new light to the investigation.
"Definitely, people will see Mr. Matobato in a new light. Instead of trying to punch holes in his testimony, we did the investigative work of checking his claims and we found out that these were true," Trillanes said.
"Senator Cayetano is only saying that he (Matobato) changed his statement but if you look at the transcript of the Senate, he (Matobato) has been consistent with the major revelations," Trillanes said, adding that no human being has perfect memory.READ ALSO: CONFIRMED!
