Senator Leila De Lima has made big headlines lately as she was ousted as a Chair of Committee on Justice and Human Rights.
Thus, social media was once again flooded with opinions of netizens and even leaders from various sectors.

Leila de Lima is presumed innocent unless proven guilty to the accusations that she benefited from drug money. In the same manner that the President should be given that presumption on the matter of his direct involvement in summary killings. He also made another post relating to the issue.
But what Leila de Lima could not be presumed innocent is in her blatant abuse of her power as Chair of the Committee when she lawyered for a witness. She deserved to be booted out of that post.
Death of democracy?
You do not know what you are talking about. The Senate voted. Majority of its members decided to oust De Lima. As to what is the motive, it is all politics. Deal with it.
By the way, where were you when PNoy bribed the Senators with DAP funds to oust the head of a co-equal branch of government he hated? Did I hear you scream about the death of democracy and the stifling of dissent?
