Wonderful Remarks of Sen. Honasan on Gen. Bato Being 'Emotional' During Senate Probe

Senator Gringo Honasan expressed his opinion on PNP Chief Ronald 'Bato' Dela Rosa during the Senate probe on the death of former Albuera, Leyte Mayor Rolando Espinosa Sr.

Despite being emotional, Gen. De La Rosa gained respect from the former soldier, Sen. Honasan.

On a Facebook post, Sen. Honasan shared:

"Ang pinakamatatapang at de-prinsipyong mga tao na kilala ko ay matatag at madalas umiyak privately or otherwise. In my experience, people of great courage and uncompromising moral principles are also people of kindness and compassion. Ang ibig kong sabihin dito ay hindi nakakabawas sa pagkatao, prinsipyo at pagkalalaki ang pag-iyak privately o publicly kapag matindi ang responsibilidad at sitwasyon." - Senator Gringo Honasan on PNP Chief Ronald Dela Rosa being 'emotional' during the Senate probe.

During the Senate Probe on late the Mayor Espinosa's death, Gen. Bato became emotional saying that his heart is to transform and reform the PNP.

Gustung-gusto kong ma-reform yung PNP, mahal na mahal ko yung organization namin… ako’y hirap na hirap na… but I will never surrender.

I will never surrender. Masasabi ko sa inyo, if you survive the board in the Academy, sa PMA, you will survive the world. Kaya ko 'to. Hindi ko ito uurungan. Lilinisin ko ang PNP hangga't sa makaya ko.
