Blogger Lectures Robredo On ICC Case Vs. Duterte: Leni Teh Mali Ho Kayo

"Leni teh mali ho kayo. Not everyone has the right to file a case at the ICC. Tatlo lang po ang paraan para ma-activate ang ICC proceedings..."
Robredo Duterte
When asked for her reaction about the planned of filing a criminal case against President Rodrigo Duterte before the International Criminal Court (ICC) for his alleged involvement in the so-called Davao Death Squad by the lawyer of self-confessed hitman Edgar Matobato, Vice-president Leni Robredo told reporters in Tarlac on Monday:

Ako naman kasi, lahat may karapatan mag-file ng kaso.
From what she knows, Robredo said the ICC will only take cognizance of the case against Duterte if there was evidence that nothing had been done about alleged human rights violations in the country.

So iyong mga paratang patungkol sa violation of human rights, parang may recognition sila (ICC) na dapat iyong mag-aksyon tayo. Ang puwede lang silang mag-take jurisdiction or cognizance, kung hindi tayo umaksyon.

So kung ma-prove ng mga abogado niya na hindi tayo magta-take action, iyong gustong sabihin, pwedeng pumasok iyong ICC.
On that note, known blogger and Duterte supporter, Sass Sasot, who's also studying at Leiden University and pursuing an MA in International Relations, gave her reaction to Robredo's statement. Sasot said not everyone has the right to file a case at the ICC. She even gave 3 ways to activate the ICC proceedings.

Kindly read her Facebook post below.

Leni teh mali ho kayo. Not everyone has the right to file a case at the ICC.

Tatlo lang po ang paraan para ma-activate ang ICC proceedings:

1. Self-referral ng member State ng ICC

2. Situation referred by a UN Security Council directive

3. Self-initiative ng ICC Prosecutor

May google po. Search niyo lang : Rome Statute.

Netizens on Sasot's post also gave their reaction on this.

What really amazes me is that, shouldn't a vice president support and defend his/her President by all means regardless of political differences? A vice-president is the 2nd in command in rank and be functional if anything happens to the Commander-in-Chief "The President". Mrs. Leni Robredo, does your conscience let you sleep at night knowing that you are 360 degrees not supporting your ranking officer DU30? Regardless of HOW, WHEN, WHERE, WHAT, he wants to run the Philippine government for the sake of the Filipino people, in which, the majority voted for him without malice, prejudice and other negativity in terms of his ability. These days "common sense" is quite uncommon but something has totally gone wrong here! with all due respect to our VP whom I didn't vote, madam VP please "act" with sense at least. the whole world is watching your telenovela and there's only "Take One". -ุนุจุฏุงู„ุฑุงููŠ ุงู…ุงู…
how did she pass the bar again? i sometimes wonder if she was for real. how can anyone rely on her wishes to be president when she can't even get hypothetical problems solved let alone be right? her win as VP has become more questionable than ever. I can't believe this dumb bish is co-piloting an entire nation ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ -Kisselle Cariรฑo
