THIS IS THE REAL EJK

Killings of farmer leaders in Negros Occidental which happened during the Presidency of Benigno Aquino III have remained unsolved until today.

Yesterday, I endorsed to the Chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), Director General Ronald dela Rosa, the case of Rolando Pango who was shot in the head twice on Nov. 29, 2014 by unidentified assailants.

Pango was leading a group of farmers in their struggle to own part of Hacienda Salud in Binalbagan, Negros Occidental which is operated by Manuel "Manolet" Lamata who heads the Negros Sugar Planters Association.

I will also be asking the National Bureau of Investigation to assist the PNP in conducting an investigation into these killings to put an end to the age-old oppression of sugar workers in Negros Occidental.

Through this page, I am calling on all witnesses who may have information on the killing of Pango and the other farmer leaders to come forward and help give justice to the victims.
