Social Media Influencers Slams VP Leni On Her Response About #NagaLeaks Controversies

"OK lang naman maging Opposition sa gobyerno, pero siguraduhin po natin na hindi tayo guilty sa mga binibintang natin. And as the second highest official in the land, please don't resort to vague answers that neither confirm nor deny the accusations. "They can't silence us" is not a YES THIS IS TRUE OR NO THIS ISNT TRUE."
Leni Robredo Naga Leaks controversies
Social media influencers and known supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte slammed Vice President Leni Robredo for her response on the #NagaLeaks controversies.

In an article published by Inquirer, Robredo was asked for her comment about the issue and this is what she said.

Yung paglabas ng kung anong leaks yan, ito ay attempt para i-silence tayo.
[The appearance of these supposed leaks is an attempt to silence us.]

Ilang beses na itong ginawa dati. Hindi nagtagumpay. At kahit anong gawin, hindi ito magpapatahimik sa atin.
[They have done this before. They didn’t succeed. And no matter what they do, they can’t silence us]

Hindi tayo nagkasala sa bayan. Yung paniniwala natin, buong puso at buong tapang pa din nating i-iexpress kahit ano pa yung gawin nilang panghaharang dito.
[I did not sin against the country. I will wholeheartedly and courageously express my beliefs no matter what they do to try block me.]

However, Sass Sasot, Prof. Antonio Contreras, and Krizette Chu were not satisfied with Robredo's answer. These three social media bloggers posted on their Facebook page and account about their response to Vice-president's statement.

Political analyst and blogger Sasot, on her Facebook page, said:

Sabi ni Leni tungkol sa #NagaLeaks, "They won't silence us." Madame, we don't want you to be silent, we want you to answer and speak up: Bakit ang drug personality na si Chinglo ay matagal na namayagpag sa Naga city at noong namatay lang ang asawa mo saka siya nahuli?
From Camarines Sur, De La Salle University professor and another political analyst Contreras, posted the link of Inquirer's article about Robredo's response on #NagaLeaks, and captioned it with:

Serious allegations were hurled at your dead husband, enough to undermine the hero worship people accord him.

And all you can say is that they can't silence you?

Isn't that a bit odd for a response? You mean you did not attempt to defend his memory, even if only for show?
While editor Chu, a known critic of Robredo, posted the screenshot the article from Inquirer and said:

This is really unfair to the administration of Rody Duterte, Madam VP. Why would you direct your message to him, when all these leaks are exposed not by anyone who works for the government or is paid by the government (unless you can show proof)?

You know Madam VP, real talk lang: NOBODY WANTS TO SILENCE YOU, THEY JUST WANT TO EXPOSE YOUR HYPOCRISY AND LET PEOPLE JUDGE.

#LeniLeaks was from Sass and TP, #Nagaleaks is from We Are Collective. I already asked, they dont even know each other.

OK lang naman maging Opposition sa gobyerno, pero siguraduhin po natin na hindi tayo guilty sa mga binibintang natin.

And as the second highest official in the land, please don't resort to vague answers that neither confirm nor deny the accusations.

"They can't silence us" is not a YES THIS IS TRUE OR NO THIS ISNT TRUE.

And if what We Are Collective released is true, I would be very disappointed. I dislike you for being a brainless puppet, but I didn't know--still couldnt accept, actually--that the Robredos were jueteng- and drug-lord protectors.

So please issue a firm denial with proof.

I greatly admired Jesse Robredo, so please do all of us a favor and answer point by point WAC's accusations so you can retain his wonderful name and reputation.

You owe us an explanation, and you owe Jesse a good fight to clear his name.
For the knowledge of all, #NagaLeaks are controversies involving the late DILG chief Jesse Robredo and his wife, Vice President Leni.

According to the website and Facebook page We Are Collective (WAC), it has 5 parts and yesterday's article Deception: Shocking Truth Behind Leni and Jesse Robredo was just part 1 of the series.
