Veteran Journalist Blast Politicians And Partisans Who Sow More Hatred After Extremists Hits PH

An hour after President Rodrigo Duterte declared martial law in Mindanao as a clash erupted between the government forces and members of Maute terror group in Marawi City, Lanao del Sur, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) on Tuesday evening, May 23, said the government forces are in “full control and have stabilized” the situation.

In line with this current issue, veteran journalist and radio broadcaster on Radyo Inquirer Ira Panganiban hits "politicians and partisans" who according to him "takes this opportunity to sow more hatred and confusion to divide the nation."

In a Facebook post, Panganiban said:

When Isis attacked Paris, the French pulled together as one.

When extremists hit the US, the Americans banded as one country.

When terrorists hit Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Europe, their citizens had one voice against violence.
When extremists hit the Philippines, politicians and partisans take this opportunity to sow more hatred and confusion to divide the nation.

What kind of animals are you that you use death and violence as a platform for your greed.

You're not like them extremists. You are worse than them. You have no ideals, just greed for power.
