The said news was originally posted on Facebook account of former Editor-in-Chief at the Manila Standard and Karambola DWIZ host, Jojo Robles.

He said:

FOLLOW-UP: Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre told Karambola Dwiz that the people who offered P2 million to Saldy and Lorenza delos Santos hatched the plot in Times Street.

Aguirre also confirmed my report on the parents of Kian here on FB yesterday and in my Manila Standard column today. Aguirre made the confirmation on Karambola, as well.

As a would-be Australian once said, "What a great day."

In a separate post, he already disclosed that "yellows" offered Kian's parents, Saldy and Lorenza, P2 million. According to Robles, Kian's parents refused the offer and went with Public Attorneys Office (PAO) chief Persida Acosta to President Rodrigo Duterte instead.

P2 million. That was the offer of the Yellows to Kian's parents.

Their first job was to join that anti-tyranny thingy launching yesterday, where they were to be paraded as Exhibits A and B.

They refused and went with PAO chief Acosta to Digong instead.

Yes, some people, though poor, can't be bought.

Quote me.
Meanwhile, Kian's father, Saldy, admitted that during child's wake, some groups tried to talk to them to bring Kian's remains to another place, but they did not allow it.

Plano nila na dadalhin (ang labi ni Kian) sa EDSA. Ewan ko, baka magra-rally sila, pero hindi ako pumayag.
