JUST IN: Faeldon Fires Back, Accuses Lacson's Son of Smuggling

In a press conference on Thursday, resigned Customs Commissioner Nicanor Faeldon castigated Senator Panfilo Lacson for naming him as among the corrupt officials in Customs when it is his son, Panfilo Lacson Jr., who is allegedly involved in big-time smuggling.

According to Faeldon, Lacson's son allegedly owned the undervalued shipment he and his handpicked officers discovered during their first few days in office.

They wan’t me out of (the) Bureau of Customs because they don’t want this to come out.
The former Bureau of Customs official held a press conference following a Senate privilege speech of Lacson who accused the resigned Customs chief of receiving P100 million in "pasalubong."

Lacson, as of this writing, has no reaction yet on Faeldon's accusations.
