During media interview on Tuesday, September 5, President Rodrigo Duterte backed up Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Ronald dela Rosa against Senator Risa Hontiveros' remarks that the deaths of 17-year-old Kian dela Rosa and 19-year-old Carl Angelo Arnaiz prove his government has a “policy” of killing drug suspects.
Do you think two killings, even if it’s illegal, makes a policy? Dalawang patay, palagay lang natin pinatay, murder (Two dead, let’s say they were murders). I ask Hontiveros, is that already the policy, is that the baseline of the policy? Napakabobo naman niya! It's an insult.Kindly watch President Duterte's interview below.
5 SEPTEMBER 2017 Duterte to Hontiveros: "…do you think two killings even if its illegal will make a policy…dalawang patay palagay na natin pinatay, muder…I ask Hontiveros is that already a policy, is that the base line of policy napakabobo naman n’ya..."

Sen. Hontiveros during senate probe on Tuesday said she believed members of the PNP kill suspected criminals because of a “policy” that allowed killings in the name of the war on drugs.
According to her,
The killing of minors and young people are no longer an isolated incident.
