Veteran journalist, Jay Sonza, hits his former employer GMA Network, calling them "worse" than ABS-CBN. Sonza took to Facebook to express his disappointment over GMA 7 because they allegedly reduced Justice Sec. Vitallano Aguirre's statement about the Drilon-Roxas case into 4 sentences and a 10-second voice on tape while spending more than 5 minutes for the liberal party story, complete with character generated text of their statement.

gma devoted less than one minute to the Aguirre report and spend more than 5 minutes for the liberal party story, complete with character generated text of their statement.

any professional news manager, producer and writer can immediately notice the disparity as to the objectivity and fairness and balance news presentation.

but that is not my point. the point is - the liberal party has nothing to do with the Aguirre statement. therefore, malinaw na sinalsal nila ng husto ang balita ng walang kakuwenta-kuwenta. napaka-unprofessional.

and yet they pride themselves as award winning news program and anchor persons. what a shame to the profession.

I pity Vicky morales and the pampangueno reporter who voiced the report using the same script in their succeeding news programs. Where they forced to perform. I don't believe they will do it, given the option.
